Scally. It will be remembered, v.-as an Important link in the lineup of the Roosevelt Field Club and Wheeler Condenser teams of the borough in former seasons. Both of these teams were strong contend ers for Middlesex county and indus trial championship honors in former seasons, with Perth Amboy repre sentative teams as their strongest opponents. It is expected that Henshaw may be shifted back to second base or probably to shortstop through the acquisition of Scally. Scally has been playing the initial sack for Connelly's Stars of Elizabeth, the combination which is tied with the Knights of Columbus for leadership of the Union county league. Another pitcher may be added to the roster of the Perth Amboy representative team because of the fact that Shafnecker Injured his arm In the game here last Sunday afternoon. The pitching choice has not been an nounced. although Manager Terlo is making every effort to secure the services of Brownmiller who pitched against the Clovers, Sunday. Both games, however, the only victories gained by the Bakelite team in this circuit were protested before the start of the game be-1 cause of the tact that the B-ikelPe team used unregistered players. For the interest of the league It might be a good Idea for fl.e re present. - tlves to count these games :n lav >r of the Bakelite tear/ U r with this lineup the Bakelite outft can fur nish interesting opposition to all other organizations in tbe circuit. With the Bakeiite team using its present lineup, the Perth Amboy iiardware combination is the only team entered in the circuit which might be considered outclassed by the other entries, and If this team could be strengthened in some way, it would be for the good of the league. Previous to the recent perform ances of the Bakelite team, when ever the Hardware or Bakelite teams were scheduled to play, llttls interest was taken in the games be cause the result was known before the game was started.
