Oeorgu II. Jackson, colored, formerly
of this city died at Springfield, Ohio,
Tuesday, uud was burled there yester
day. Jackson claims ho 'drove the hack
containing Pearl Bryan and her mur
derers, Jncksou nnd WulIIng, tho night
they carried hor from Cincinnati,
across tho bridge nnd out to near Fort
Thomas, wkero thoy murdered tho girl
and cut off hor head.
Oeorgc Jackson was tho main witness
against Jackson nnd Walling and
it was largoly on his cvidonco thnt tho
two mea wore hanged on March 20,
1897.
