date the debt of the State falling due to 1868
and 1869;" passed March 13, 1868; to pay
tbe interest on the bonds loaneJ you at least
fifteen days before said bonds became due.
Tbe penalty for the violation of this duty is
that I am to appoint a suitable, person, at your
expense to take eharge of your road. I
