Whinner, the aviator who had been secured to give exhibitions with tils aeropluno during the event, nave three of tho in.-/', successful flights ever seen in this city. Altogether he was in the uir about half an hour, and traveled during that time about thirty miles. He had perfect control of his machine at nil times and wan cheered by the thousands who witnessed his flights. Tho horse races, which lusted for more than on hour, were one of the chief features of tho day.
