August 2.?A beau? tiful day greeted the manoeuvre camp, and the last day capp'-d with succets t ,e foregoing days of the camp. This morning at .1 o'clock the entire camp was up and busily engaged in prepar? ing for the fuil day's manoeuvre. From thta hour until the train pulled out | of Mt. Gretna, the entire body of troops | was kept busy constantly, and not it i minute was Idled away. The morning, from .1 until 7. was i spent In a general manouvre of attack I and defense. About eighteen miles were covered and the manoeuvre i j proved o beautiful drill. Each man I was provided with forty rounds of am , munition, and the sham ' warfare was carried on In regular style.
