Juno 10.?To-day's session of tho eighth annual meeting of the Virginia Association of Colleges and Schools for Girls, In session at Virginia College, devoted Its time to the discussion of standardization. A report on this subject was pre sented and adopted at the session last i year, in Winchester, and since that lime several of the Virginia female | colleges and schools have adopted the plan provided in this report. Tho question was discussed in all of Its phases this morning, and the senti ment generally among those In attend ance favors It, although several mem bers of the association offered objec tions to certain features of the plan. In tho round table discussion of the plan. Dr. Orle I, Hatcher, Hryn Mawr; 1 ?r. Mary K. Benedict, Sweetbrlar, and Julian A. Burruss, of Harrisonburg, participated. Miss Virginia MoKenney, of Petersburg, spoke on "The College Entrance Board ICxamlnatlon and the Necessary Practical Arrangements." The other speakers on this subject were: Miss M. II. DuVal, St. Anne* School; Miss I.uey I.oe I'owell, Stuart | Hall, and Miss Susio I>. Morris, Miss Morrlss's School. Mrs. Ij.
