Hayward was down from Haymeadow farm last Fri day. Mrs. Stanley Mrotek left for Chicago Friday to visit with her mother. Sylvester Caskey of Lac Vieux Desert was down at the county seat last week. Stefan Boca returned from Ash land yesterday, where he spent New year’s Day. Mrs. Delia Roderick and daugh ter Mrs. Harry Frank were Three Lakes visitors Thursday. Arthur Poisman left for Mil waukee this morning after spend ing the holidays at home. R. H. Beebe of the Sanborn Company, returned from a holi day visit with Ashland friends. Alois Sailer returned to Mil waukee Friday to finish up his senior year at Marquette law school. Mrs. Otis Pennington returned to Elcho Friday after spending a few days with her mother, Mrs. Patten. Sayner and children were over from Plum lake spending New Years with the Ernst family. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Mac quacker returned Thursday hav ing spent a few days with home people in Chicago. Mrs. John Ulrich returned home Monday from Chicago where she had been visiting relatives the past two weeks. Miss Flora Vantwoud of Watersmeet spent a few hours between trains Thursday as the guest of Miss Rose Weil. Walter Felzman came home Thursday from Milwaukee to spend New Year’s at home. He left for Clintonville Monday. Miss Dora Steinke, supervising teacher for Vilas county, returned from Shawano yesterday where ; she has been spending the Christ mas vacation with home people. J. A. Dziengelewski and son and A. S. Lalla, who have been spending the holiday vacation with home people in Chicago, returned to Eagle River, Mon day. They are both intheemploy of Sanborn Company.
