Dickinson went from there to
Eagle River where he will spend
Thanksgiving? with his parents.
Mr. Richardson returned here
yesterday.
Mr. Chilson, th.e popular land
lord of the Chilson Hotel of Gil
lett was in the village one day
last week. Billy has many
friends here who are pleased to
hear of his success. The Adver
acknowledges a pleasant call.*

day 7 last. It was a hard game

Utah has declared his intention
of not resigning and of “lighting
it out.’, Unless appearances are
deceiving, Mr. Roberta will en
counter a catastrophe as com
plete as that which overtook the
bull that at tempted to W>4ifd a
locomotive.
Henry Herrrpel is laid up with
rheumatism.
Dock Bennett came up from
Ciintonville Tuesday.

Johnson was working on the
skidway for Moore Bros, he
caught his left foot between two
logs and bruised his ankle quite
badly. Under the efficient care

John Delamuter tranacted bus
iness at wabeno to day.
John Delamater and crew have
commenced clearing the lots for
school gound at Laona, after
which he will erect the building.
A pleasan surprise was given
McGuire & Traynor Sunday'
night. A large crowd assembled
and an enjoyable time was had.
This is the first dance in the new
village of Laona.
