The final score was 36 to 28 and in order to determine the winners it was necessary to play off two ties. It was a nip and tuck game from start to finish At the end of the first half the score was 14 to 14. At the second half the score board showed 14 to 24. After a brief rest the teaivfe went at it again for a five minute per iod to play off the tie. When the whistle blew at the end of the five minutes the score was 28 to 28. Another fiveminutes of play was called to play off the sec ond tie. Coach Nelson’s team then got off on a rampage and caged four baskets winning the game for the home team 36 to 28. An Oconto man acted as referee and not a protest of any kind was heard from any quarter. Average Farm Flock in Wisconsin too Small “The average farm in Wisconsin keeps a flock of about 70 fowls. This is much too small for efficient egg production,” says J. G Haplin of the poultry department of the University of Wisconsin “Every farm should have at least 50 laying hens and twice as many pullets from which so select next year’s layers, in ordtr to make the flock pay. We do not recommend flocks of more than 500 for the general farm or for the begin ner. The average flocks shruld be be tween 150 and 500 fowls for efficient egg production.” Tax Rate Is $4.74 per SIOO The tax rate for the town of Wabeno this year is $4.74 per SIOO valuation.
