MAY 26. 1922 Mouutain Beaten by Wabeno Wabeno defeated Mountain in the first base ball game of the season at the local ball park last Sunday, score 8 and 3. A good sized crowd witnessed the game. Sunday the Oconto Falls team is scheduled for a game with Wabeno at the local ball park. Oconto Falls is said to have a good strong team and Wabeno will have a better liue up than last Sunday so those who attend are assured of a good game Turn out and give your home team good support. The new shop, next to the Wabeno Motor Car Company garage, is fully e quipped to do the better class of work in this line. Anew large steam vulcan izing machine has just been installed and is operated by experienced men. The proprietor, J. P. Mallow, spent several weeks in one of the large Green Bay shops taking a special course in the latest methods of vulcanizing to better enable himself to handle efficient ly this class of work. Class Play Well Given The Senior Glass play, “All of a Sud den Peggy” was given at Neider.s hall last Friday evening and the hall was well filled. The play was well present ed, all having their parts in fine order, and was much appreciated by the large audience. The musical numbers between the acts were also well rendered. The Wabeno orchestra furnished mu sic for a dance and bazaar at Lakewood last Friday evening Fred Morey motored up from Sey mour Sunday and visited a few hours at the H. W. Swan home.
