For Surveyor None Albert Bergner Died Sunday Albert Bergner of Underhill, former ly of this village, died suddenly last Sunday. He had been feeling ill for on ly a day or two. Mrs. Bergner was vis iting her daughters, Mrs. Geo. Grant and Miss Gustie Bergner, of this vill age. when she received word of the death of her husband Mrs. Bergner and Miss Gustie Bergner left for their home by auto Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Grant went down Monday morn ing. The funeral was held yesterday from the Lutheran Church at Underhill. Those from Wabeuo in attendance be sides the immediate relatives were Mr. and Mrs Chas. Lemke and daughter, Gertrude, and Wm. Moore Cos. C.?to Camp Douglas Sunday. Cos. C Ist Infantry, of Wabeno, will leave for Gamp Douglas for the annual summer encampment next Sunday morn ing. Practically all arrangements for the trip have been made. Tt is expect ed that 70 or 80 men will make the trip. They will leave here by special train and will be joined enroute by other com panies. August Mueller had the misfortune of breaking his left arm Monday. John Gayfaart and S. D. Switzer were to Appleton on business the first of the week. Fay Marsh has leased a barber shop at Crandon for three years and will a ssume charge Monday. Miss Isabel Dupois came home from River Falls Normal Monday after at tending the summer session. Local ba3e ball fans witnessed a real interesting game at the ball park Sun day when Wabeno defeated Long Lake 12 to 7. L>ance at Gerl’s hall, Newald, Satur day evening. Canfield of Antigo, general a gent of the Old Line Life Insurance Cos., was in town this week on business for the company. F. Neider has returned from a two weeks visit at Morse, Wis. Mrs. Neidsr, who accompanied him, remained for a v more extended visit# Principal W. E. Switzer of Wabeno and Earl Holman of Antigo, left last Friday on a visit to Yellowstone Nat ional Park and other places in the west. Last Thursday evening Rev. Wm. R. Huth conducted services in the school house at Tipler. Again a large audience filled the schoolhouse eager to hear the Gospel of Christ. Mr. and Mrs. Boettcher and daughter, Ruth, their nephew, Herbert Boettcher and Mrs. Alma Schroeder and daughter, Alice, all of Milwaukee, are guests of their relatives, Aug. and Walter Muell er, west of town.
