That part of the country in which the tipposed murderer was seen is iu the vicmity ot Shaw s Store and V Lite Plains. He was also seen at Dogwood Postoffice, in North Car olina, on the outer edge of the Vir ginia line. The man who is believed to be Bingham was neatly dressed, and made himself understood through the medium of his state and pencil, which he carried with him. He has ireen stopping at night chiefly with negroes and the poorer classes of whiles. He appeared to have money, and paid liberally lor what he got. As soou as the man found that he was being looked upon with suspi cion he departed, and, when fast seen, was making his way down to wards the Roanoke nver, going in the direction of Norfolk. There is considerable excitement iu the neighborhood in whch the sup posed murderer has been, and large possees of men have been scouring the country in search of him, but up to last accounts he had not been found.
