Lockerby. who at one time was in partnership in the old well-known firm of Lauder, Lockerby & Wolfe of Wahpeton, and who later moved from this county to Sargent Jounty and then became state's attor ney there for several terms, at last re signing that position to go into part nership with Maj. Frank White, at Val ley City, is to be a candidate for at torney general for North Dakota. Mr. Lockerby is popular throughout the state, and if the report should prove truly correct it would meet with joy throughout the Fourth and Fifth Judi cial Districts^ The waterworks in this city are giv ing excellent satisfaction. A baseball circuit, including the towns of Lidgerwood, Forman, Hank inson. Milnor, Havana, Cogswell, Brit ton and Wyndmere, is to be formed to be known as the "Sargent-Richland County Baseball Association." The plan is to have forty-eight ball games flayed, and the players to live at their respective towns, no outside players to be allowed in any team. A gate admis sion of 25 cents to be charged to pay expenses, and a pennant to be made and given to the winning team.
