NEXT YEAR j|fhe intention of the Soo road in the Western part of the state has been a tject of considerable speculation long prospective homesteaders and information on the subject has bfeen eagerly sought. The officials of tJie road have carefully refrained from discussing their construction plans- for publication but The Forum has been able to secure valuable information from a gentleman whp is close to the railway officials and who returned last night from a trip to the western part of the state. "The Soo has constructed twenty trifles of roadway this summer to Gar rison" said The Forum's informant, "find I am assured by railway officials that construction operations will be fair more extensive next year. "'The line will positively be extended to Minot connecting with the main line before the close of 1906 and will thus give the residents of the northern part of the state direct connection with the state capital. "As soon as possible a line will be built through Williams County from the southeast corner to the northwest corner and crossing the line of the Great Northern either at Ray or Wheelock. In anticipation of this im migration to Williams County this year has been extraordinary. Home steads have been filed on as far as eighty miles from the railway and next year I expect that unoccupied land in that part will be almost impossible to secure.*' MUST NUMBER BOXES.
