case of the appeal of E. L. McCapes, of
Maderia, to the supreme court, is being
heard today and presents one of the
most novel statements of grounds for
appeal that has been given in court.
He appealed from a badly written and
worse selled verdict, which reads lit
erally as follows: "We the jorey fined
him guilty as charge."
