He saw the animal at some dis tance as he was riding, and not being heeled with a complement of shoot ing irons, prepared his rope for a cast. When near enough he spilled the loop over him (in the picturesque language of the poetic cowpuncher). Instead of fighting for his life, the animal signified his submission by putting his four feet as high in the air as possible. Willis then put his foot on the coyote's neck and won the fight on his own decision.. MYSTERY STILL SURROUNDS TIHA'SDE4TH ATDICKINSON Dickinson, N. D., Aug. 8.—The cor oner's Jury in the case of Albert Tunia, the tinner whose body was found floating in the Js\ P, dike, bad the stomach of the dead cnan sent to chemists at the university of North Dakota for analysis and this week received a report of the work. The chemists state that no poison or other chemical was found in the Stomach which could have caused Tuma's death. Thtd case is one of the most mys terious In the history of the country. There was no scratch or abrasion upon the body and the physicians found no water in the lungs, the stomach has revealed nothing, and the jurymen are at a complete loss as to what cause to ascribe the man's death. Those who were with Tunia when he went to the dike have gone through a dozen sweatings by local officials and a Pinkerton detective, and while the stories do not coincide in every particular, there is no ground for a murder charge. As a result, of what agency did Tuma die and what became of his money? Stark county has spent nearly $800 trying to find out.
