None of the measures was of any great importance or in terest, the riiost important being tuo bills, relating to the privileges of members of cooperative organiza tions and fixing limitations their voting1 powers. By vote of '57 to S. the senate sip plied the emergency clause to Sena tor Lindstrom's bill providing for the operation of bathing beaclie:-- at sum mer resorts on Sundays. The committee on counties brought in three separate reports on Senate Bill 87, referring to county seat elec tions. There is so much interest in this measure that on motion of Sen ator Jacobsen it was made a special order for 2:?'.0 o'clock tomorrow. Dr.Ladd's pure patent medicine bill passed the house. The house will make an effort to plow through its en tire calendar today and an evening session is probable. The senate adopted resolutions ex pressing sympathy to Senator and Mrs. Sandstrom, whose infant child died this morning at Bottineau. No great objection to Garrison's getting away with the menu, from soup to nuts, with emphasis on the later, is antici pated in the upper chamber, although several senators have pet locations for the asylum. The senate will be impressed by an enthusiastic Garrison lobby with the fact that central North -Dakota is sad ly lacking in public institutions of any sort, which is expected to bear some weight.
