for Joseph Allen Mills, 20, held here
in connection with the alleged hazing
end death of Leighton Mount, a fel
low student at Northwestern univer-
sity, Evanston, 111., in t'J2l, waited
last, night outside the office of ( hief

on r, Mills was spirited away and
today was believed to he on route
to Chicago in custody of Assistant
District Attorney of that. city.

any light on what had become of
Mills although he accompanied the
