TUESDAY, MAY 14,1929 \ Rev. and Mrs. Herzberg Are Tendered Surprise by Members of Congregation Membersrf Evangelical Church Hold Reception for Pastor and New Members The congregation of the First Evangelical church arranged a most happy surprise for their pastor Rev. Ira E. Herzberg, and Mrs. Herzberg, last evening, to mark their return to Bismarck for another year. Jackie Bowers read "Be a Booster,” and the three small Mar tin girls sang “Whispering Hope.” An original humorous sketch “A Long Look Ahead,” was cleverly given by Mrs. Arthur Knudtson who pre sented Rev. and Mrs. Herzberg with a floor lamp in behalf of the church members. She also presented them with a set of table linen from the nurses of the Bismarck hospital, and their small son Bobby received an auto coaster.
