try about Colllnsvllle about 7;30
o'clock Wednesday evening, particu
lars, of which reached the ,clty this
morning. About this hour the people
of Colllnsvllle were alarmed by tho
f.wlft approaen of a heavy shower nnd
fall of hail, which almost Instantly
roared across them with the sound oi
a henvy ruin. Tho noise seemed to
be overhead and wns declared to lx?
almost deafening. Uvcrybody who
had a storm celler made for It.
In less t'inn three minutes tho fury
of tho elements ceased, except for tho
receding roar, dying away toward tho
northeast. The rosults were seen this
morning when It wns learned thnt th;
greatest dtiinage was in tho south
part of the town.
