Friend of Ex-Governor Does Not
Credit Prohibition Statement

the dtate of Oklahoma. A prominent
republican living In this city who Is a
warm personal friend of the ex-governor,
said thla morning:

over twenty years. I knew he was a
friend of temperance, but never beard
him say any great things for prohi
bition, lie saw enough of the workings
