His words rinsr as clear and ns tme uvfav Imp W line a message to Americans at war as they did when he spoke them so eloquently more tnan nan a century ago. Let us apply these words to ourselves. "Our Fathers," he said, "brought forth a nation CONCEIVED IN LIBERTY "Our soldiers gave their lives that that nation might live." "The world will little note nor long remember what we say here but it c'ln never forget WHAT THEY DID HERE." ' " "It is for us the living, rather to be dedicated here to the unfinished work which they who fought here have thus far so nobly advanced. It is rather for us to be here dedicated to the great task remaining before us that from these honored dead we take increased devotion to that cause for which they getve THE LAST FULL MEASURE OF DEVOTION that we here highly resolv e that these dead shall not have died in vain that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom" )HE flower of America is in France today. They offer for us the last full measure of devotion. Let us be with them in our thought, our work, every hour of the day until they come home to us vic torious. And let us remember that "the world will little note what' we say here." But what we do here counts. Con servation along every line will help to save trie lives of our men in. France and on the sea. Let us make, the victory swift and sure! Some of these boys will not return to us. But our overwhelming offering of dollars to our country and the conservation of food supplies we shall not turn back that we have resolved and acted on that high resolve "that these dead shall not have died in vain." , - y D O 0 D The Central National Bank Rally to Every Request Your Government Makes Be An American 3 II.
