Why
The
Big
Loaf?.
THERE is an incontrovertible reason
why you should buy bread in
big loaves, of the pound-and a half
weight.
That reason is this: That it costs less
to process large loaves, in the bakery, and what
the baker saves here he can put back into the
quality.
The baker makes, as good bread as
he can, at tjhe market price. For better
bread is the secret of better sales and greater
success.
You may be sure that we put back
into HOLS UM bread, in increased quality,
what we save by making HOLSUM in the
large size only.
Why does it cost less to make large
loaves? Because the larger the unit the low
er the overhead. Large loaves require less
labor per pound, less equipment, fewer pans,
less wrapping paper per pound and so on.
But there are other arguments for
the large loaf. It is of a size and weight that
bakes to a better texture, and a finer flavor.
Also, it has less crust in proportion and keeps
fresh longer.
If you haven't tried our big loaf of
HOLSUM yet be sure to do it today. You
yourself will detect its unusual excellence.
