Hopkins was one of the original boosters for a better water system for Tulsa. He was for the water bonds when they were voted and he now stands for an honest and efficient expenditure of that money for the exact purpose for which it was voted. The men Who opposed the water bonds and are now supporting Mr, Hopkins are entirely consistent. They were not against a first-class pure water system but were against turn ing over that much of the taxpayers' money to the Hubbard atlministra t Ion. They doubted both his intentions and his ability and now that they have the opportunity to support a man whose very name inspires the fullest confidence of every man who is familiar with his personal charac ter and business qualifications, they are in full accord with the bond issue. If you, Mr. Voter, are for Spavi naw water and want dollar for dollar value on the money spent for it, your best interests will be served by the election of C. F. Hopkins. Ic.l p W. C. 7. U. In his ad in the Saturday evening paper, Mr. Hubbard seeks to lead voters to believe that No. 12120 Admiral is "A Workfogman'fl Home." If he will take the pains to call the county at torney's office he will find that it is a notorious joint and that papers have already been pre pared and are now in the county attorney's of fice to be served Monday morning, by which a padlock will be put on the door. The insinuation that decent working men of Tulsa are making such joints as this their home is ;in unjust reflection upon Tulsa workmen. A very small per cent of them are ever seen around houses of that character. They don't belong to that bunch and you can't excuse your joint, nor smother the stench arising from the rottenness of the recent registration by attempting to throw around it the sacred cloak of labor. Vour citation of the election law reads pretty, but that is as thin as the attempt to purify 1220 Admiral. The charges we make in the papers have been also put before the county attorney in affidavit form. He has full authority and ample proof at his command to proceed with criminal prosecution of the guilty at any hour he is ready to move. Read the DeGroff affidavit in this paper. (Paid PollUta! DARNELL A lot of folks each political year like better to tell where they were borrthan to express convictions of belief in principles and to give to the public in clearly understandable words a course of action for involved situations. In other words, they like better to talk harangue than facts. When the public goes to vote it doesn't care much how many children or wives a candidate may have had. As far as can be heard and read, we believe that DARNELL (H .T.) is the only candidate who really has sid anything worthwhile. We have heard a world of favorable comment on Darnell's policies as we have given them to you. He is a business man and he talks business. He doesn't beat around the buch. Consider well what he says.. That is all we ask of the voters, because they then will have Darnell in mind when they vote. DARNELL, you will note, is not a candidate on either democratic slate. He is not a "combination" man. He is a candidate on his own strength and does not have to take the part of a tail to be wagged at the inclination of the head. You know and we know that it does no good to howl your head off be tween municipal elections about this or that thing, and then when the next election day comes to go and vote for men responsible for those conditions or those who are too timid to give to the public their expressions, or those who are unworthy of belief. We know, and we want you to know, that DARNELL is a good, clean man, and one who will be acceptable to the citizenship of Tulsa. He has been sound and sane in all of his utterances on the big questions of municipal af fairs. Frankly, do you believe Tulsa can afford to miss the opportunity of putting a man like him in partial control of its city building and business affairs? And just as frankly do we believe that DARNELL will be nominated over whelmingly for Commissioner No. 3 on the democratic ticket. When folks take stock and find they have nothing to lose and all to gain, they act We believe that is the situation in the present instance. This will be our last appeal to Tulsa in behalf of DARNELL. Anything else would be a repetition of his qualifications with which you have become ac quainted through our advertising. A vote for him is a vote for business ef ficiency, cleanliness and saneness in civic affairs, and wholesomeness in municipal government. We ask you unreservedly to VOTE FOR DARNELL (Contributed by Acquaintances of H. T. Darnell) mi on r rtaa. Ki 1L t, 113 mm Hi Alain.
