rest. For thn defendant, counsel
claimed In their arguments, that tho
story told by Grace was In fact tho
truth and that tho officer fired only
after Wheells hnd struck tho former
with tho loaded billy and then at
tempted to escaped by running
toward an alley. They claimed that
Wheells was in actual possession of
