TROOPS FOR QUEEN LIL. Hawaiian Royali.t, Importing Recruit! From Canada. Victoria, B. C., March 13.—The Hawaii an steamship Wnrrimoo, just arrived, brings confirmation of the enlistme .it ol Canadian volunteers for the service ot Queen Lilluokalani The plan was fully described in dispatches sent from her« early in January, which at the time were discredited as false. It now appears that their authors were la full possession of in side information on the subject. 'The dis patches say: More than an ordinarily large number ol steerage passengers, many of them Eng lishmeu and Canadians, some wearing military badges, arrived here during Jnu uary and February. They have no osten sible employment and are understood tt be w ell supplied with money, while theii sympathies are with the royalists. They are supposed by the police to have been engaged or enlisted by Sansotne of Van couver ( and the military apjwnrance ot many of them has given the authorities reason to believe that they are here fer tht purpose of resisting the provisional gov ernment. The opinion prevailed that the report previously sent of the enlistment of men in C'anuda was u fake, but the presence ol ut least 80 strangers confirms the original story.
