There will be one delivery and collection, commencing at 7.30. There will be no evening collection by wagons. THEY WANT TO KNOW WHERE THIS MONEY COES The Board of Public Educaton at its meeting last evening referred to Superintendent George W. Twltmyer for investigation the soliciting of money by a woman from parents of school children. The matter was brought up by John C. Kersey, of the Second ward, who recently proved himself a hero by attacking a mad dog with bare bands after the animal had bitten several persons. Mr. Ker sey presented a receipt for a year's subscription to a publication called the School Progress League. The Mr. Kersey, the woman received fifty cents In some instances and $1.50 in others. Tn one instance It was start'd that the '«ague was purely a kindergarten and the League, acoorrdltig to the statements of a woman solicitor was to award prizes ranging front twenty-five cents to $2 per month to the pupils rccclv ing the highest honors, Accorrdilng to money was for that, purpose, Several other members said they had been approached on the street« by persons who had asked relative to about a year ago a solictor for the publishers worked here and carried a letter bearing Dr. Twlltmyer name.
