FIX JAN. 31 FOR LAWYER'S TRIAL Robert Adair to Answer In-; dictment Charging Em bezzlement HENDERSON LOSES PRISON SENTENCE Trial of Hoher Adair, suspended member of the New Castle county bar, on two Indictments charging him with embezzlement, was set for January 31 by Judge Richards, In Court of General Sessions, yesterday afternoon. Judgment of the Municipal Court In the case of Walter Henderson, Negro, charged with assault and battery on Bennie Wilder, Negro, reversed by a jury in the county count yesterday afternoon. In the lower tribunal Wilder and Henderson were sentenced to three years' imprisonment each on charges of assault and battery on each other, but the Jury yesterday acquitted Henderson, who appealed the case from the Municipal Court. Henderson shot Wilder, but main tained that he committed the as sault in self-defense after Wilder had stabbed him. Warner Icwl», Negro, who was convicted by a Jury several days ago on a charge of attempted break ing and entering, was sentenced by Judge Rodney to 18 months' im prisonment. The court commented that there was nothing to Justify leniency. It was shown that 1a>wls has served three terms of imprison ment.
