Warner Likely to Receive a Renomination— Dems Choose Ferns Iwnhted Pun tm The Bntlu Time*. Lansing, Mich., June 12.— Michigan voters are participating In their first state primary today and the results are awaited with considerable interest by all parties. Under the primary law the nominations for governor and lieutenant governor are made this year by direct vote, but the candidates for the remainder of the state officers are to be nominated at state conven tions tas theretofore. The successful candidate must receive at least 40 per cent of the vote cast at the primaries. If he fails to receive that portion of the vote, even though he may have a plurality, the nomination is left to the state convention. Governor Fred. M. Warner will be renominated by the republicans, and in all probability Patrick H. Kelley of this city will be named for lieutenant governor. Wood bridge N.
