CONCHO, Tex., Aug. 25.—Hoavy rains have filled the Concho river, washing away houses, hotels and stores. The loss is estimated to run up in the thousands. No loss of .life reported as yet. PAUL, Aug. 25.—An iron mine has been discovered right under this city. The iron lies 600 feet beneath the surface, but is said to be of such remarkable quality that it will pay to mine it even at that depth. Wilson, a 54, shot his wife fatally this morning and then killed himself. Wilson has for a long time be'm half crafcy on the subject of his wife's fidelity, and was on trial for insanity a short time ago. Lusby last Christ mas mutual threats passed between the members of the two families. D. C. Lus by and his father, Moses Lusby, are in the city hunting for (Jen.
