Martin, of Sussex county, was nominated for Congress. One resolution endorses the Delaware Senators and Representatives in Congress, and concludes as fol lows: In accordance with the Time honored and faith Of the Democratic party, we hold that the only honest and law ful money of the people of the Un ted States is gold or silver coil). Other resolutions hold the Repub lican pirty responsible for the de pressed condition of business, and vigorously denounce the conspira cy which, through corruption and fraud, gave tlie electoral votes of South Carolina, Louisiana and Florida to Hayes and Wheeler against Iho clearly expressed will of the voters of those States, and declare the firm conviction that the refusal of the Republican members of the Electoral Commission to in vestigate the charges of fraud, whereby certificates of election were given to tlie Hayes electors of said States, was a violation of public duty and a betrayal of the trust re posed in tbem; and they endorse and approve the investigation con stituted by tlie House of Represent atives for the purpose of exposing to the whole country the means by which said frauds were perpetrated and the will of the American peo ple defeated.
