It is supposed that f.lhe money is hid near town. There K'la most positive evidence of bis | guilt In a large number of stage ; robberies. His betrayer makes a Bploaa breast of tbe whole afTuir and i,, gives startling accounts. Great ex ij&tement here. He is the man r who robbed tbe stage between An ' telope and Wickenburg, and made r- Xd. Peck open tbe treasure box, gland Dan. Marshall Bvans is now iv Sonora, in close .nuraait of them. The same paper says additionally: j Brazleton, the most successful "single-handed highway robber" of modern times, is no more. A "pal" let out on him and tbe Sher iff of Pima County, with a posse, let him out. Our dispatch leads us to suppose tbat the robber died "came." He was no ordinary thief. His hand was against every man— eltiaen, army officer, mining presi dent, ex-Indian agent and editor. Ha confined himself to no particu lar locality and never growled at tba impecunioslty of his victims. Who he was, and whither from, frill soon become clear, we suppose. His death, it appears, created con alderable excitement in Tucson. Perhaps tbe confession of his •'con federate" will lead to the exposure of some more hard cases and assist tbe authorities in stopping further depredations. Stage robbers must be put down, even if the Governor bas to call out the militia. | The Steams Ranchos, AIaFmED BODINNUN, Trustee, HiMarket Ms., nasi FrsHClsce, Cal. 4i*f\ ACRES OK LAND FOR OvjUw sale, lv lots to suit, suit auile for the culture of Oranges, Lemons, . lmes,Fij|rt, Almonds, Walnuts, Peaches, Apples.
