To-day we have one of the most import
ant sales' days of the scasou, aud we advise
you to come early, because there will un
doubtedly be a big demand for the goods.
We have a line of fifty dozen "Mikado"
kid gloves that we place on sale to-dAy at
cOcapalr. These are gocds bought to toll
at ft a pair: come In all shades but black;
new goods, arrived yesterday momiugby
express; bought purpose v for this sale.
A line of fifty dczen "Suede" undressed
kid gloves iv shades of tuns and gray, sold
to-day at 76c. These gloves are worth 11.25
a pair and splendid value at that. Besides
these we have a liuo of French kid gloves
In five-button length, that we closed out
with au importer; price, *I 25 a pair. He
claims they cost him more to import. We
never have had cither of these three gloves
iv stock before.
A line of twenty pieces of novelty velvets
in two-toned stripes, will bo displayed to
day, for sale on our second center table.
They will be placed at the uniform price of
Jl2sayaid. The goods are a bargain at
HI. They are the prettiest and neatest de
signs we have handled.
A line of 750 yards of gray sll-wool tricot,
forty-two inches wide, splendid goods, will
be sold to-day at 50c v yard. This is really
a spleudld bargain. The goods were made
to sell at 115 c. We limit tbe purchase to a
pattern of ten yards, to have enough to go
