Joseph Espitallier has entered suit against E. Oddoul, P. Oddonl and Emili Oddoul to declare a certain mortgage executed by E. Oddoul and P. Oddoul in favor of Emili Oddoul on lot 13, in block 19, Brooklyn tract, null and void, i as being fraudulent, and executed for the . pnrpose of defrauding plaintiff out of tho j sum of $335.05, which was owing by the two first'named defendants to plaintiff, ] and for which ho had obtained judgment ■ in the courts. T. D. Cheney sues George Mason and j the Studebaker Land and Water Com- 1 pany ti recover $11,002.50 on two prom- l iesory notes granted by defendants to plaintiff and secured by mortgage. 1 Foreclosure of said mortgage and sale of i the property are prayed for. < The Raymond Improvement Company ' has entered suit for $15,000 against the San Pedro, Los Angeies and Utah Rail- - way, J. Tlic Supervisors. 1 The Board of Supervisors met yester- ( day morning, pursuant to adjournment, , present Chairman Perry and Supervisors 5 Davis, Littlefield, Rowan and the clerk. . The amended lease of tho rooms for £ departments two, three and four of the , Superior Court was accepted on behalf of i the county.. A number of bcsiks asked for by the District Attorney were granted. £ The clerk was directed to advertise the sale of Azusa city bonds for February 4th. \ The bond of Messrs. Ayers & Lynch, i of the Herald, for printing the delin quent tax list was approved. ( Dr. Brainerd was elected Resident j Physician at tho County Hospital. Supervisor Littlefield was appointed to [ act with Dr. Maynard in the appoint ment of assistants at the County Hospi tal. On motion, Mr. Dugall was relieved from the onerous duties of Superinten dent of the County Farm. The bond and lease of Judge Hutton for the rent of his courtrooms were re ceived aDd approved. The Board adjourned till February 4th. marriage Licenses. EXCHANGE REVIEW. New York, January 23 —The stock market to-day turnished no new features of interest, being extremely dull, except for half a dozen leading shares, while tbe fluctuations were confined to unusually narrow ranges, with a weak tone from the opening to the close. The close was dull and weak at fractional losses ior the day in most of the list. Government bonds were quiet and steady. Petroleum opened steady, but closed weak at 84% c. HONEY QUOTATIONS. New York, January 23.—Money on call easy at 2 per cent. Prime mercantile paper, i®s%. Sterling exchange quiet and firm; $4.80 for sixty-day bills: $4.88*; for demand.
