The market closed fairly active and strong at the best price iof the session. The list is almost Invariably higher tonight, and while the most changes are for Insignifi cant fractions, Manhattan Is up 2 1 ,', and Atchi son. Big Four, Louisville and Nashville and Union Pacific each 1 per cent. Government bonds were dull and steady.
