The Grand View hotel has been secured for their entertainment, and private homes have, been hospitably opened for those whom the hotel could not accommodate. Touilineon and Brother Stone. While these committees were pre paring their reports the chairman called several delegates to the platform and felicitously introduced them. Brother Sullivan of the Pacific Baptist, respond ed, as did also Brother Stockdale of Missouri, Brother Dye of Fast Los An geles, Biother Baker of Palmß, Brother Kvans of Axusa, Mies Miller of the First Baptist church, Los Angeles, and Secretary W. G. Shaw of the same church. The letters from the various Sunday schools, which embodied many of the statistics which have been given in the secretary's report were read. The chairman called for volunteer re marks as keynotes for the coining year. Brother Bennett, Brother Rider and Brother Evans responded. This morninif is the date set for tbe sale of the cable road system by Com missioner Francis Thomaa, who was ap pointed by Judge Van Dyke for that purpose in bis foreclosure decree. It ia expected that the sale will take place accoiding to arrangements, and there eeema to be little doubt tbat tbe purchase will be,made by tboae inter ested in the electric road company.
