June 14.— Tha dead level of. dullness in today's stock market was not relieved by any notable Increase of Interest. The professional traders who look to a movement of prices aa a me dium for earning their dally bread tried (luring the morning to extend yesterday's « decline. They succeeded In wiping out . the opening advances which had been n.a'ln in Rympathy with tho firmer tone of the London market, but at that point the narrow dimensions of the market again asserted themselves. Yesterday's ; market was accepted as a • demonstration that no now Interest In stocks, could be looked for as a result jof the peace .prospects or of the Equi table lilfo settlement. There Is some dis position, howevrr, to consider that the seeming progress made In those matters is Illusory. CHICAGO, June 14.— Weakness In the wheat market was In evidence from the start, Notwithstanding higher prices at Liverpool, Initial quotations here ahnwed losses, July being down a shade at M%a. The main factor In the situation was the continuation of excellent weather condi tions. Crop reports were confident In tone and had a tendency to greatly restrict the volume of business. For July the lowest point was reached at 86ff8C%c. The market closed weak with July flown % to %o at 86% c. Sentiment in the corn nit was decidedly bearish. One of the main Influences was the liberal acceptance by farmers of bids sent out by cash houses. In addition re ceipts were larger than estimated and the spring demand showed signs of a bet terment. The market closed at the lowest point of the day, July %c down at 62% c. Oats were weak In sympathy with other grains. July closed % to %c lower at 30%i?i.30%c.
