An Ordinance declaring the Intention of tho Mayor and Council of the City of Los Angeles to establish tho grado of Forty-second street, from South Park avenuo to the east line of Davenport's San Pedro Street Tract, as recorded lv Book 4 ot Maps, at page 30, Records of Los Angeles County. The Mayor and Council of the City of Los Angeles do ordain as follows: Section 1. That it is the intention of the Council ot the City of Los Angeles to establish the. grade of FORTY-SECOND STREET, from South Park avenue to the east line of Davenport's San Pedro Street Tract, as recorded in Book 4 of maps, at page SO, Records of Los Angeles County, in accordanco with the follow- ing elevations: At tho Intersection with South Park avenue the grude Bhall bo 178.28 at tho northwest corner and 178.03 nt the southwest corner, as now established on South Park avenue. At a point on the north side 200 feet west of the west line of South Park avenuo tho grade shall bo 178.78 and 178.38 at a point on the south side op- posite thereto. At the intersection of thn north line of Korty-second streot with the west line of South Park Avenuo Homo Tract No. 2 (as recorded in Book 5 of maps, ut page 77, Records of Los Angeles County) the grade shall be 176,13. At the Intersection with Vernlta street the grade ahall be 176.00 at Urn southeast corner and 175.70 at tho southwest corner. At the Intersection with aald east line ot Davenport's San Pedro Street Tract the grade shall be 174.48 on tho north side and 174.16 on the aouth elde, aa now established. And at all points between said deulg- nated points the grade Bhall be estab- lished ho as to conform to a straight lino drawn between uald designated polnta. Eluvatlona refer to the top of the curb, are in feet and are above a plane which is 255 feet below City datum plane. Sec. 2.
