SAN FRANCISCO, July 6.— Acting on the suggestion of Mayor 'Schmitz,' the 'board of supervisors has accepted an offer made by Andrew McCreery for the use of a lot 275 feet/ by 275 feet at Eighth and Mission streets and will Immediately build a two-story frame building that will constitute a tem porary city hall. The building will cost $150,000 and work will proceed Immediately. City Architect Shea has drawn up plans and all departments save the police and attendant courts will be housed under one roof. It was stated by Mayor Schmitz that' Andrew McCreery would give the lot : rent free with the understanding that/ the city would pay the taxes for a per iod of three years.
