Brnun, the contractor and engineer, was the first Intimation to the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Braun of North Pasadena, of the tragic death of their soni The parents came to Los Angeles yesterday morning, and an affecting scene occurred In Pierce Bros.' morgue. As stated In yesterday's Herald, Mr. Braun was killed near the corner -of Sixteenth and Held streets while saving his pet dog from beli.e struck by the same car which brought death to him. 'The body was removed to Pierce Bros.' morgue, where an lnq-est will be held today. The funeral services will occur at the family residence In North Pasadena tomorrow. Braun formerly resided In Pasadena, and previous to coming here lived In Columbus, 0., where hla father was well known ac a contractor and broker* Braun has two brothers living in Los Angeles and one In Columbus, 0., and one sister, Mrs, Ehlers, who was asso ciated with Braun In contracting: work here. C, where he lived with Ms parents for several years, Braun was associated with several members of the postofflce department. Braun was well known here in social and business circles, and for several months he was a member of a vocal Quartet, of which Fred Irwln of Pasa dena was the leader.
