SAN PEDRO HARBOR is rapidly coming to the front. With her great commercial and future possibilities the future is assured.
»3 The millions of dollars which are being expended at this port show to the world that the citizens of this section are wide
awake to the importance of a magnificent harbor which will be able to take care of business from all over the world.
The U. S. Government has expended close to $5,000,000 to date, and $500,000 has been appropriated for further improvements.
It is proposed to spend at least $6,000,000 for fortifications.
Large private corporations are at present spending millions of dollars improving private holdings in the outer Harbor to accom
modate deep water shipping which is coming and contracted for.
