preach his first sermon at the Cen
tral Union Church on Sunday.
Prof. Stoeckle will exhibit scenes
from Buffalo Bill'a Wild West
Show today in the kinetoscope.
There are also hundreds of selec
tions to choose from in the grapho
phone. The concert given by the Ha
waiian band last night, at the Ha
waiian Hotel drew one of the larg
est crowds that have congregated
for some time. On account of the
inclement weather the concert was
concluded about 9 o'clock.
Buggy With Electric Lights.
Tho Hawaiian Carriage Manu
facturing Company has just com
pleted an elegant new buggy for
Superintendent HofTman, of the
Electric Light Company, which
will be fitted with electrical appa
ratus. The design is a pet one of
Mr. Hoffman's, and will be a nov
elty. It will be shown on Tuesday
evening.
A Popular Skipper.
Captain Matson, late of the Lu- (
line, who has been renewing old
acquaintances in the city and at
Hi In, will return to San Francisco
by the Australia next Wednesday.
Capt. Matson is one of the most af

Martial Law No Longer Necessary.
Cases All Settled.
The insurrection of 1S05 and the
incidents in connection therewith,
which will long be remembered to
gether with volumes of new Ha
waiian history, will come to an end
Monday morning.
Louis J. Levey, M. C. Bailey and
Archie McDowell, the last three
political euspects who agreed to
leave Hawaii for the good of the
country, departed by the Mariposa.
There was not the slightest friction
incident over.their departure. The
agents of the Oceanic Steamship
Company received money for their
passage without question, further
than awaiting the arrival of the
vessel with instructions regarding
euch from headquarters.
The last of the sentences im
posed by the Military Court wero
announced yesterday. One of
these was a leper and received a
sentence of five years. He will be
sent to Molokai.
The Military Commission will
meet Monday morning and be dis
charged in regular form. Shortly
thereafter orders will be issued de
claring martial law suspended.
At the meeting of the Advisory.
Council this morningeome decision;
will likely be reached regarding
the disposition of ex-queen Liliuo-
kalani.

Tomorrow being the anniversary
of Kamehameha III and St. Pat
rick's Day as well, the Hawaiian
Band will render the following pro
