JOSE de ESPIRITO SANTOS Manufacturer or GUITARS, UKULELES, AND TARO PATCH FIDDLES, Has removed to King St., near Punchbowl St. THE PEOPLE'; STORE. This is the night of the grand re vival of bicycle racing on the Honolulu scenic track. The program has been published already and all who delight to watch the wheel go around say that it is one of the very best ever offered. The big drawing event is the "three cornered" match race between Damon, King and Giles, the leading amateurs There has never yet been any betting to amount to anything on cycle races, but it may be said that the favorite in this event is King. It will be a paced race and the first man to get two heats takes the prize. It is confidently ex pected that some very fast time will be shown. The three riders have some old scores to settle and the finishes will be of the whirlwind order. In the professional event Allen, Jones is slated as the winner. Whitman is not quite "on edge," but he has sur prised all before this. John Manoa is in pretty good trim and Martin is rid ing his trials in better time and form than he has shown at the game during his whole career. The band will be on, hand tonight. In the absence of Captain Berger, who has gone to Molokai on a professional trip, the Government musicians will be di rected by IMr. Aylett. Some new and lively selections will be heard. A thorough test of the light at Cyclo mere was made last evening and was entirely satisfactory. The prices at this meet will be the same as usual. The track conduct is now an enterprise of a hui of town, boys and if they are given encouragement they will keep the sport alive and on a good basis. At the track last evening the man- Are what business men have a right to expect from we!! managed legitimate en terprises.
