of the Territory will assume charge of
all matters pertaining to the old Ha
waiian Republic money order business.
The transfer to the office of Treasurer
Lansing was effected yesterday and
will be carried on until the old business
Is entirely wound up.
The books, blanks, receipts, urn-ashed
orders snd papers of every descrip
tion have been handed over to Mr.
Lansing's department. To wind up tuis
business completely will take mrch
time and labor. There are many out
standing money orders which have not
been presented and these will hava to
be called in.
