Andrews, sheriff of Hawaii, has trailed to High Sheriff Brown a printed notice for the arrest of Ikeda Mansaku, who escaped from the prison gang in Hilo. April 1. 1902. The sheriff offers $100 reward for his capture. Mansaku was serving a sentence for burglary at Kukuihaele. Hawaii. The notice con tains a likeness of Mansaku. A pretty dance was given on the la nais of the Hawaiian hotel last even ing, which was well attended by officers from the United States training ship Mohican, townsfolk and guests of the hotel, many of the latter being new comers who arrived in the ' Alameda. During the early part of the evening a quintette of sailors from the training ship supplied excellent music with mandolins and guitars. They were re lieved later by a quintette of Hawaii ans, who played and sang native melo dies.
