Men like "Waller and Harvey are not tn ha disnaraered. but Bishop, Lane and Dowsett stand just as high in com munity esteem and votes cast for them will not be wasted nor will such votes . assist in electing the Home Rule Sena tors as must now be the case with votes cast for the Democratic candi dates. It should be borne in mind by the electorate thai every vote cast for. the Democratic Senatorial nominees is , rpft.lv a half a vote for the Home Uulers. If the Democrats prefer to see such men as Kalauokalani, Paele and Oili in the Senate instead of DowSett, Lane anri Titshnn. let them stand by their ticket but if they want to see the bet ter men there let them for once, lay aside party prejudice and help to elect them. If there was any . possible chance of electing their own nominees we should not presume to offer such advice, but -with Democratic party leaders -recognizing and acknowledging that their last chance is gone the advice Is at least worthy of their earnest consider at ion. ; That which proved yesterday. Arrived there Dr. XfcGee did what she went forth to do, and no doubt not half is told of the services she rendered, while the hardships she and her noble band must have endured are not mentioned at all,, in the modest narration of her mission she conveyed in answer to the questions of an Advertiser reporter yes terday.
