Adams of Wisconsin is dead.
Henry Cullen Adams has been a
Congressman from Wisconsin since the
last elee'ion. He was a prominent
farnitr of Madison before going- into
politics. He was a member of the
State Board of Agriculture for a num
ber of years and was chairman of the
Republican State Convention in 1900.
He was born in Verona, X. Y., Novem
ber 28, 1S50.
ADVANCE IN WAGES.
BOSTON. July 9. The advance in
the wages of people working in cotton
textiles will affect 165,000 employes
throughout- New England.
