CONSUL UYENO'S RECEPTION. Consul General Uyeno was the host at a large New Year's reception yes terday morning at the Japanese Con sulate, many townfolk attending. The reception-room was decorated and por traits of the Japanese Emperor and Empress were prominently displayed.
