this suggestion Knudsen moves to
amend tho report by striking out
the names of D K Naono and
Charles Kreuter Kumalao also
offered another amendmeut to still
further raise the pay from that re
commended by the committee
Much discussion was aroused and
was finally disposed of by motion of
Fernandez to adopt tho report with

The next deferred item was that
of the iFish Inspector Honolulu

found out that it had been referred
to a speoial committee the same as
had tho Pay Roll Honolulu Fire
Department which was found out
to be the Oahu delegation Amo
tion was made to take it out of the
oomraittea baud and to pais as in
the bill but Aylett said that ho waa
not aware that tho Oahu delegation
had the itmi yet he was its ckair
mat and ha asked for further time
Harris moved that Aylett be made
a committee of one and he can got
tho desired information in Cften
mioutes by going into tho Treasury
and so at once aot upon it The
