Merer, vice presidents: L. E. Levey, secretary, and Grace Jackson, treasurer. Miss Blessing Fischer will be assistant 10 the president. The new corporation will begin with an established business, taking over the banking business of the bank, which showed over §3.000.000 resources in its most recent report, as well as extending an automobile funding business, which last year reported a turnover of nearly §4,000.000. $300,000 ISSUE IS AUTHORIZED. In a statement issued by Sol Meyer concerning the new organization, he said that 10,000 shares of preferred stock, par value of §IOO a share, aggregating §1,000.000 will be outstanding, with an issue of §500,000 common stock authorized, s'■oo,ooo of which will be purchased and owned by the shareholders of the Meyer - Kiser bank. Red Cross Loses War Records in Fire A large number of valuable war rec ords were destroyed by fire in the Amer ican Red Cross headquarters, 515 518 Lemcke building, it was annonnced to day. . The fire broke out late Saturday eve ning and was of unknown origin. The storeroom. In which the records were kept, and two other office rooms were damaged. There was much excitement in the building when the flames were first no ticed, the upper floors being filled with smoke, which prevented the operation of elevators. Legion Will Hear Ralph Cole Sunday Ralph D. Cole of Findlay, 0., formerly lieutenant colonel of the Thirty-seventh division, will be the principal speaker at a meeting of the American legion and former service men next Sunday after noon at the Clavpool hotel.
